CAY , Abundio "Andy" July 11, 1930 - October 8, 2009 Andy passed away in his sleep at the Foothills Hospital at the age of 79 years. Andy was born in Lobo, Batangas, Philippines. He was the eldest of nine children. Andy became a teacher upon graduating from the University of the Philippines. He was Head of the Math Department at Don Bosco - Mandaluyong before moving to Calgary, Alberta, Canada in 1971. Andy is already deeply missed by family: his wife of fifty years, Ligaya; sons: Arnie, Armando and Arthur; daughter: Arlene; granddaughters: Ashley and Chelsea; grandsons: Tyler and Elijah; son-in-law: Earl; daughters-in-law: Gina and Juliet. He is also survived by three brothers, a sister, many nieces and nephews and distant relatives here in Calgary, the United States, the Philippines and other parts of the world. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at the Chapel of MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Friday, October 16, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Catholic Church (5552 Madigan Drive N.E., Calgary) with the Reverend Long Vu, Presider.
