I was so shocked and saddened to hear this news just two days ago. Adam was a wonderful young man who brought joy to every room he entered. He could put a positive spin on anything. I am so sorry that his family had to lose him so soon. May his memory always bring you joy and hope.

Adam will always be remembered as a truly warm, genuine, and kind person. I remember every day in chorus at Bangor High, he lit up the room with his big smile and friendly personality. Sending my deepest sympathies to the Kearns family.

November 6, 2013

Adam and Kim are friends of friends of mine and I only met them a couple of times, but have been praying for Adam and his family faithfully. My heart breaks for the family, but rejoices that they can have the comfort of knowing that Adam has entered into an eternal reward greater than his suffering was here on earth. I continue to pray that God will heal the broken hearts of the loved ones Adam leaves behind, that family, friends, and community will surround and support his family, and that his boys will grow to carry on a legacy of service to and love for God.

I didn't know Adam very well, but did have a few classes with him in both high school and college. He was a wonderful person, and will be missed by many, many people. I feel sorry for all the people that never knew him, as they missed out on something amazing. The world will be a duller place without him. I can only know that he is in a better place and that he is watching over his beautiful family. My condolences to the Kearns family and know that Adam will be greatly missed.

Always will remember Adam's smile, hard work, and his son running down the hall to see him before class started. Sorry I will miss the funeral today-I'll be in that same room and missing Kim in class. So, happy to know your family --sad you had to say "see you later" to Adam.

To Adam's family: my heart hurts for you. Adam was a bright, warm light in a sometimes dark and cold world. Adam was special to so many people in so many ways. We will all carry him in our hearts until we, too, pass on to the next life.

So sorry for your loss Doreen. We remember Adam when he taught our children how to swim. You and his family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Adam was my guardian angel many times at work. He was also a God-send to his patients and co-workers. He had an infectious smile and warming personality.( many belly laughs at work) Adam was a young man with many achievments and talents. It is difficult to fathom Gods plan. However, it would be out of character for Adam to be angry with this situation. We did discuss scripture at work.....and this would be his response. Psalm 47:10 "be still and know that I am God."In closing, Adam loved being a dad and husband. Spoke of his wife and children often. I am truly blessed to have met a brother in Christ who encouraged me.

As big a guy as Adam was, his heart was even bigger. I was always amazed and impressed with Adam and how he handled himself and those around him, from the first day I met him.
He was quite a guy...we are all poorer for his loss.

All the teachers and staff at Fairmount School send their deepest sympathies to Adam's family. I still remember coaching Adam in rec soccer when he was just a little guy (yes, there actually was a time when he was little) and thinking even then of what a nice young man he was. He would always say hi when we ran into each other and he would share of his work and his beautiful family of which he was so proud. I'm very grateful to have known him and, again, deepest sympathies to the family. Mr. B.

Adam I will never forget you. Your smile always made everyone smile and you always knew how to get everyone out of a bad mood. You were always the one everyone wanted to back them up at a code. You knew just how to talk to the kids on the children's unit, you had a special way with them. I will never forget our talks. Or you chasing me down the stairs to see who was going to get there first. I will miss you my friend.
