We just learned of the passing of Adam and are deeply saddened for your loss. Our prayer is that God's grace will sustain you during your difficult times. Although time and distance have separated the friendship we embraced for many years, you are forever in our thoughts and prayers. We love you. Heb 2:17-18

I am so so sorry. Adam played the guitar so beautifully. I remember that he learned, originally, as a foxfire project in the eighth grade. But in high school he use to play while we waited for the late bus, and it was really really beautiful. I recently started to learn to play the guitar, this december, just before his passing, and i wondered to myself if i would ever be as good as him. I wont! He was way too good at it. Im so sorry.

My deepest condolences to Adam's family. I worked with Adam at e2e in Ithaca. He was so friendly and nice to talk to that it was easy to like him right from the start and become friends with him. He was very intelligent and talented and a great conversationalist. It was touching that he was so connected to his mom and brothers. You were always in his thoughts. I thought it was sweet that he wanted to stay in touch with me and my husband after he left Ithaca. We even visited him in Vt. I looked forward to his long emails, often complete with pictures from one of his adventures. He was always sincerely interested to know what was happening in our lives as well. That was Adam, a very special and kind person. I will always miss him.

Dear Susan, Aaron, and Andrew:
We are so sorry for the loss of this wonderful, talented young man. We watched him grow up as a peer to some of our children, and were always impressed with his talent and intelligence. He was truly fine., and we are all the poorer with his passing.
You are all in our most heartfelt prayers.
Love, Gary and Gayle Cornelius

Hello, Susan.
I just read about Adam in the Chronicle. There is no way to express the sorrow in our hearts at your loss. I wish that we could be there for the service on Saturday but must be in Maine tomorrow and Saturday due to my mother's health issues. We will certainly be thinking of you all.
It's wonderful to have the Hope that we have. God be with you at this difficult time.
You and your family will be in our prayers.

What a beautiful young man. I saw this obituary and felt compelled to comment. Younger by just a few years than my son. So sorry for your family's loss. No words can express my condolences. Although a total stranger - I am feeling for you.

I write this with a heavy heart. I was so saddened to hear the news about Adam. I only have wonderful memories of him as a student at Brighton elementary school and later as a substitute teacher there. His musical talent worked wonders at engaging the students and he knew how important that was in connecting with them. I am sorry I cannot be there on Saturday but I am there in spirit...

I had the pleasure of working with Adam for the past 4 years. He will be greatly missed. I enjoyed his infectious laugh and enthusiasm for outdoor adventure. He had a real easy going laid back attitude. He was smart, pragmatic, realistic and seemed to live completely in the here and now. Rest in peace.

As a fellow employee of Haemtech, I did not know Adam very well, but nonetheless I feel a great loss at his passing. I'll always remember with fondness this happy image; of him sitting with me on the curb at lunchtime outside Haemtech on a sunny summer day, toes wiggling in his flip-flops, as he played absolutely beautiful and wonderfully intricate melodies on his acoustic guitar. For the gift of his music and his talent, I will always be grateful...
