I was home for Christmas and I went by the Barber Shop to say hello. Sad to see it closed up, and even more sad to learn of his death.
Adolfo was a gentleman and an A-grade barber. The many years of hair cuts and conversations about life will be missed.

I meet Adolfo when I went to school. I was traveling through Windsor yesterday and I thought I would drop by and see my old friend. I was hurt to see his shop closed up....
RIP my friend, it's amazing how many lives you have touched.

For as long as I can remember, I remember Adolfo. He was my first barber and throughout the years, I always went back not just for a haircut - but for the thoughtful and gentle conversations we would have. He was a generous and kind man. I even set a short film in his shop - and he was just such a treat to work with. For many years, I would drive by his shop on the way home - and sometimes he would be working late - cleaning up after a hard day. Sometimes I would stop in to see him - and he was always happy to greet me - no matter how tired he seemed to be. I was saddened to see his shop shut down - and I have just now learned of his passing. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I hope you take strength in knowing what a decent and good man he was. Bless him. And Bless you all.

I trust that our good Lord will comfort you at this time of loss.
I first met Adolfo a few years ago when I was in Windsor on a visit. I had him cut my hair a couple times over the years and it was always an interesting experience. Had to be some of the longest haircuts I ever had, what with his conversational style. I loved every minute of it. When I was back there this past January I was disappointed when I found the shop closed. May he rest in peace.

I first met Adolfo as a nervous six year old perched on a wooden plank spanning the arms of an impressive chrome, brass and leather chair.
Adolfo told me that he knew my grandfather! I didn't even know my grandfather.
He never failed to mention how, when he first came to Canada, my grandfather picked them up from the train station, brought them to see the Christmas lights on Ottawa street, and then over to his and my grandmothers house.
Visiting Adolfo in his shop always made me feel so good.
Adolfo was a kind, thoughtful, intelligent soul, whose memory will always be with me.

I am saddened by your loss. I last saw my friend in Dec. Of 2014. I first met Adolfo shortly after his arrival in Canada when he went to work for Beno and he became my lifelong barber/friend. I will miss my visits with him to reminisce about the "good old days".
