La famille recevra les condoléances des parents et amis après la cérémonie religieuse. Il était le fils de feu M. Victor-Eugène Lavoie et de feu Dame Marie-Berthe Bouchard. Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants; Jean-Guy (Céline Pellerin), Régis (Clémence Munger), Line (Sylvain Bergeron), Colombe (Alain Simard), Annie (Luc St-Louis), Stéphane (Nathalie Migneault); ses petits-enfants : Isabelle, Marie-Neige, Nicolas, Dave, Audrey, Sébastien, Érika, Alex, Andréa; ses arrière-petits-enfants : Maude, Guillaume, Julie-Anne, Élisa, Kellyanne, Laurence; son frères et ses sœurs : Émilienne (feu Théodore Girard), Yvette (feu Jacques Riverin), feu Fernand (1ière noces feu Monique Émond, Christiane Fillion), Marie-France, Micheline (Bernard Morissette), Renald (Jeannine Landry); ses beaux-frères et belles-sœurs : feu Yvan Fortin (feu Gabrielle Gagnon), Yvette (feu Jean-Paul Gagnon), feu Gilles (feu Claire Lajoie), Monique (Eudore Gagnon), Nio (Lisette Savard), Gaétane (Réal Desgagné). Il laisse également dans le deuil ses neveux et nièces, nombreux parents et amis.
