Adrian Absalom Blanton, 84, Warrenton, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2018, at a nursing home in St. Louis.

Adrian was born Sept. 10, 1933, in Bourbon, the son of Arthur Blanton and wife Mary. He was united in marriage to Reva Hart Oct. 15, 1953. Adrian enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling and in the summertime, going to Lake of the Ozarks with his grandchildren. He was former coach of the Khoury League baseball team in Pacific. Adrian was a car enthusiast; he attended car races and car shows. Adrian also was an avid Cardinals baseball fan. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him

Adrian is survived by his beloved wife, Reva Blanton, Warrenton; daughter, Linda (Charles) Neubauer, Warrenton; four sons, Ronald Blanton, Warrenton, Tony (Jane) Blanton, Wright City, Mark Anthony Blanton, Warrenton, and Rick (Debbie) Blanton, Wright City; two sisters, Stella May Coffman, Wisconsin state, and Ruth Lankford, Pacific; 14 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Blanton; mother, Mary Blanton; and 10 siblings.

Visitation was scheduled to be held Wednesday, Aug. 22, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, 904 S. Highway 47, Warrenton.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, Aug. 23, at 11 a.m., also at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Warrenton City Cemetery, Warrenton.

Memorials to a charity of the donor's choice, in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 126, Warrenton, MO 63383 are preferred.

The family is being served by Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton.
