Pops will be greatly missed by all Adrian, Ronnie, Donna, Chris and all of the Hamann family my thoughts and prayers are with you. Pops was a good friend and always fun to be around, he truly loved fishing and spending time with his family and friends. I have many fond memories of crab, shrimp and crawfish boils along with fish fries under the camp on Ratsnest road. Great memories of a time gone by. RIP Pops.

I first met Pops when I was a young 20 year old Coast Guardsman looking for a bar in Metairie and I ended up living next to Whiteys. I loved him from the day I met him and jokingly told him I was an adopted grandchild. It was a privilege to know such an amazing man. The last time I saw him was 18 years later (Feb 2016) and he still had a smile on his face. He truly enjoyed life and is an inspiration for others to look up too. I will miss you Pops, and I will never forget you.
