DOLAN, Agnes Elizabeth (nee Formby) 1909 - 2010 It is with a deep sense of loss we announce the death of our beloved mother Agnes on Thursday, December 2, 2010. Farewell to the finest lady and person to ever grace our lives. Agnes was one of God's special angels sent directly to us 101 years ago to love, teach and care for us. Mom was not without considerable pain and suffering in her lifetime but evermore important and empowering was her enormous strength of spirit, faith and hope. She will be especially remembered for her courage, generosity, humor and devotion to family. She had a remarkably positive attitude and her keen mind showed a wisdom that awed. Mom was always and will continue to be an inspiration to four generations of family and friends. Dear daughter of the late Henry Formby and the late Agnes Henry. Beloved wife of the late Michael James Dolan; she is also predeceased by her daughter Agnes Eileen; her sons Fr. Francis Dolan OMI (Lowell, Mass.); Michael (late Lucille Bedard), Ottawa; John (Alice Bertrand), Aylmer; Raymond (Arlene Blackman), Aylmer; her granddaughter Susan Young Bochert and her grandson Shawn Duford. She is survived by her loving and admiring daughters, Doreen Rotar (late Jim), Nepean; Helen Allard (late Gerry), Ottawa; Veronica Young (Carl), Chelsea; Margaret Duford (Denis), Sept-Iles, Que.; Rita, Ottawa; Sharon Thibault (Jean Paul), Orleans and Linda Niman (Grant), Kemptville. Dear sister of the late Sr. Mary Aloysius OSM (Jo), Chicago, Ill.; the late Mary Brownrigg (late Norman), Mt. Morris, Mich.; and the late John Formby (the late Lola Ormerod), Ottawa. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2313 Carling Ave. (west of Carlingwood) on Saturday, December 4th from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday, December 5th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral to St. Mark the Evangelist Church, 160 rue Principale, Aylmer, Que. for Mass of Christian Funeral Monday, Decemeber 6th at 11 a.m. Interment at St. Paul's Cemetery, Aylmer Road. In lieu of flowers it would greatly appreciated if memorial donations be made to the CLSC, Aylmer for their tender, loving care of Mom over the years with a special thank you to Dr. Finlay and nurse Lise Demers and all the nurses who took care of her.
