Agnes Ferrini

Agnes (Paciotti) Ferrini, 89, of Raynham, passed peacefully on August 18, 2016 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of the late Carlo Ferrini. Agnes was born in Fitchburg to Palma Scaficchia and Nazzareno Paciotti and grew up in Mattapan. She met her late husband Carlo, who swept her off her feet in his grocery store, Ricos Market, and was married on October 2, 1949 for 54 years. They made their home in Braintree where they proudly raised their four daughters. Agnes is survived by her daughters, Janet Munichiello and her husband Richard of Tolland, Conn., Diane Smith and her husband Paul of Osterville, Mass., Carol Webber and her husband Michael of Raynham, and Laurie Halls and her husband Robert of Raynham. Nona is survived by 11 grandchildren and their families, including 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Gloria (Paciotti) Ferrini of Kingston. Agnes was predeceased by her brother, Leo Paciotti. She will be remembered for her love of family and friends, her warm and welcoming smile, a great sense of humor, and making sure everyone was well fed at all times. She was an avid reader, had an amazing green thumb, and enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and making delicious caplit. She will also be remembered by countless Raynham elementary school children who she waved to each day as her grandsons traveled past her house on the bus for the past four years. Visitation held on Aug. 23, 2016 from 8 -10:30 a.m. at the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 35 Spring St., East Bridgewater, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Anns Church, 660 No. Main St., Raynham.
