Aldrich (Mary) Aileen, age 81, of Waseca, MN, formerly of Buffalo, MN, died peacefully on July 15, 2005 with her children at her side. Preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Ralph. Survived by children Larry (Ludean) of Magna, Utah, Bernie (Cindy) of Eden Prairie, MN, Anne Dudley (Joe) of Stillwater, MN, Joanie Aldrich of Smithfield, RI, and Julie Linnihan (Mark) of Waseca, MN; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and very special cat, Mo. Born in Sioux City, Iowa to Henry & Margaret Wenner, she attended Briar Cliff College. She met her husband, Ralph, while he trained as an Army Air Corp officer in Sioux City. They married after his return from WWII and settled on Ralph's family dairy farm where they raised their 5 children. She worked for Wright County Court Services for over 25 years. Aileen was active in her church groups, sang with her community singing group, was a longtime member of the American Legion Auxiliary #270 & VFW. She enjoyed travel, politics and current events, shopping, the Minnesota Twins, music (she was an accomplished pianist), restaurants, and above all, spending time with family and friends. She was extremely proud of her Irish heritage! She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Reviewal will be at Peterson Chapel, Buffalo, MN on Monday, 7/18, from 4-8 PM and from 9-10 AM Tuesday. A Funeral Mass will be at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Buffalo on Tuesday, 7/19, at 10 AM. Burial will be at Fort Snelling alongside her husband. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested. Very special thanks to the staff and volunteers at Fairview Hospital, Edina and to the N.C. Little Memorial Hospice in Edina for all their loving care. Serving the family...
