I remember her kindness to us during visits to her home in 1972 while we were temporarily living in Aurora and knew no one. Our thoughts are with her children.

I met Aileen a few years ago, and right away, it was obvious that she was a VERY nice and outgoing person. Ted and his brother & sisters were lucky to have her as their mom. My condolences to them and the rest of the family.

Dear Ted and Family,

I am so sorry and I want you to know I am thinking of you and what you and your family must be going through right now. Please accept my condolences. I can only imagine how difficult this must be for you.

I'm sorry I never had a chance to meet and get to know your mother, although I remember you speaking highly of her many times. A mom is a very special person in our lives and can never be replaced. She is that person that will comfort us when we need it and of course administer discipline when that is needed too. Your mother like many mothers had a great influence in your life and can never be replaced.

I think that the loss of one's mother is by far the saddest event of anyone's lifetime. There is just no other loss that measure up to this one. But knowing how moms are, I'm sure that your mom just like many other moms wouldn't want us sitting around grieving, but rather celebrating the wonderful life she led. I'm sure she had few regrets in living the full and successful life that she did.

So in this time of sorrow, remember your thoughts and memories of your mom will always be there. It is OK to hurt and to be sad as your family has suffered a great lost. But know this too, she will still be with you, and your family as her greatest legacy will be in the wonderful children she raised. I'm sure as any mom she was so very proud of all of you.

My thoughts are with you and your family at this sad time. May you find comfort in God, family and friends and you have my very deepest and sincere sympathy.

Yours In Sympathy,

Kevin
