WILLISTON, S.C. - Aimee Leola Elwell, 38, of Williston, entered into eternal rest August 3rd. Funeral services will be held 10 am Wednesday at Dyches Funeral Home Chapel in Barnwell with the Rev. Dan White and Rev. Floyd Dukes officiating. Burial will follow in the Williston Cemetery. Born in Spartanburg, SC, Ms. Elwell was the daughter of Randall Ellis of Thailand and the late Betsilee Youmans. She was a school teacher at Dorothy Hines Elementary School and an administrative assistant for Jones Construction Company. Aimee will always be remembered by her warm smiles and gift to make people happy. She was always quick to forgive others demonstrating her Christianity. She is survived by her son, Chance Elwell of North Augusta, her father, Randall Ellis, a half brother, Michael Ellis of Hudson, Wisconsin, Grandmother June Youmans of Williston, Chance's Grandparents, Rudy and Jean Elwell of North Augusta, the father of her son, Troy Elwell of North Augusta, Grandparents, JL and Sara Doolittle of Modoc, SC, God Parents, Donna and Tim Tajeder of Siren, Wisconsin, aunts, uncles, friends and students. She is preceded in death by her mother Betsilee Youmans and her uncle, Neill Youmans. In lieu of flowers, do a kind deed for someone hurting or in need as she would do for us or a memorial of one's choice. The family has entrusted Dyches Funeral Home of Barnwell with the arrangements.

My child has attended Hains Elementary for 4yrs. We are sad to hear about the loss of this beautiful person who guided the children that worked through her door with her knowledge. When someone we love passes on, U never get over it. U just slowly learn how to go on without them, but always keeping them tucked safely in your heart. May God be with her family and friends. R.I.P. Dear.
