Aimee Elise Peterson

Aimee Elise Peterson, 38, of Southampton, NY, passed away on July 26, 2023, in Marysville, WA. Aimee was born on October 25, 1984, and was a beloved daughter, sister, niece, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Aimee was a loving, thoughtful, and selfless person. She had an unbreakable bond with her mother, Christina Peterson, who supported her through life's ups and downs. Aimee always emphasized the importance of family and cherished her brothers, Daniel Peterson and Matthew Peterson, as well as her sister-in-law Tawnee Peterson and Amanda Ayres. She was a doting aunt to her nieces, Roslynn Peterson, Madilynn Peterson, and Avilynn Stephens. Aimee had a large extended family, including cousins Melissa, Michelle, Steven, Kenny, Tom, Scott, Chrissy, Josie, Monica, and William. She was also deeply loved by her aunts and uncles, Gail and Wayne Hudson, Cort and Peggy Raynor, Mike and Cara Raynor, and Steven and Nancy Raynor. Aimee's four cats, Zoe, Luna, Jax, and Maverick, were her cherished fur babies.

Aimee faced and overcame challenges in her life. She conquered opioid addiction and remained clean for seven years. However, she battled alcohol addiction in recent times, which caused significant health issues, particularly affecting her pancreas. It was ultimately the alcohol-related complications with her pancreas that led to her untimely passing.

Aimee's passion for hairdressing defined her career. She worked as a hairdresser for five years, finding joy in styling and making people feel their best.

In her free time, Aimee enjoyed walking on the beach, going out with friends, camping, and, more recently, watching TikTok videos. She found happiness in simple pleasures and cherished the moments spent with loved ones.

A memorial service to celebrate Aimee's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the ASPCA or any animal organization or domestic violence in Aimee's memory. Aimee had a deep love for animals, and supporting their welfare would be a meaningful way to honor her memory.

Aimee Elise Peterson will be remembered as a loving and caring soul, who touched the lives of many. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. May she rest in peace.
