Alain Ouellette Obituary

OUELLETTE, Alain Born July 22, 1953 in Paris, France, son of Martial Ouellette and the late Anita Paquette. Passed away on November 19, 2005 at the CHVO of Hull at the age of 52 years. He leaves behind his two sons: Alexandre Rochon-Ouellette (Vicky Thibeault) and Nicholas Rochon-Ouellette, their mother Danielle Rochon. He also leaves his brother Pierre-Francois Ouellette (John Latour), his sisters: Christine Ouellette, Denise Ouellette, Dominique Ouellette, a close family friend, Marilyn Carpentier, many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Alain lived and travelled extensively with his family giving him the opportunity to discover many regions such as Marseille, Rome, Lagos (Nigeria), Yaounde (Cameroun) and Sao Paulo. He was a teacher for 26 years in the Maniwaki region (Cite etudiante de la Haute-Gatineau and l'ecole Kitigan Zibi) as well as an instructor for the Heart Foundation and first-aid worker in the same region. For many years he was also municipal councillor of Messines. The family will receive condolences from 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 26 at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home, 180 Montreal Road, Ottawa (241-3680), followed by a memorial service in the Chapel at 9:30 a.m. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the nursing and medical staff at the Centre Hospitalier de la Haute-Gatineau as well the CHVO of Hull.
