Alan ASHTON Obituary
ASHTON Alan Henry Alan Henry Ashton of Pitt Meadows passed away peacefully at Royal Columbian Hospital on November 28, 2009 with his family at his side. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Olga, his daughter, Annette, his son-in-law Ron and his grandchildren, Lisa and Alex. He was a good husband and father. He was employed as a transit driver for 25 years after which he enjoyed golf, lawnbowling, painting and traveling.

To Olga and Family,
Mary and I want to express our deepest sympathy to you and your family.
I first met Alan back in the early 70's when I was a rookie driver at BC Hydro.
Alan was highly thought of at work,on the golf links,and of course on the bowling green.
Alan was one of natures gentlemen and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.

Alan was my longtime friend and a true sportsman who loved the game of lawn bowling, both socially and competitively and was also a gentleman who knew how to lose or win gracefully. He will be truely missed by all who knew him as he was a pillar of our club.
