Alan Bergman Obituary
He and his wife, Marilyn Bergman, were a powerhouse songwriting team, winning Oscars for their work on "The Way We Were," "The Windmills of Your Mind," and their music for "Yentl."
Bergman is also being remembered for co-writing the theme songs to such TV shows as "Maude," "Good Times," and "Alice."

There are no words that anyone could say yet Alan Bergman was a talented Composer. Alan Bergman, his wife Marilyn Bergman, were a powerhouse songwriter team, winning Oscar for their work on “The Way We Were,” “The Willmills of Your Mind,” and the theme songs for the TV sitcoms Made and Good Times for their music. I truly love this song of The Way We Were, the lyrics are simply beautiful along The Movie is amazing between Robert Redford along with his Co-Star Barbra Streisand,, I love the 2 TV theme songs of Good Times & especially Maude. We all that he is in a good place now, he will be truly missed, yet never be forgotten. his soul still live eternal as his body departed back to heavily heaven. Deepest Sympathy Heartfelt Condolences to the Alan Bergman Family. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family..

I loved The Way We Were, both the song and movie. I think it was the most beautiful song ever recorded. Barbra Streisand was iconic in singing it. Thank you Mr. Bergman for such a classic song. May you rest in eternal peace with God by your side.

I´m so sorry for your loss. I loved the song The Way We Were and bought the sheet music for it. He was one of the best lyricists IMO and extremely successful commercially. He lives on through his music and will be deeply missed. RIP Alan.

I never saw the face behind those wonderful songs, I grew up with until seeing your obituary picture. Those songs brought me joy and good memories.
