Alan Craven was a very genuine man,who,when he inquired about your well-being,he really wanted to know.
Junior worked with him for a time and we also attended the festivities at the Red Barn from time to time.What a lot of wonderful memories we have about stock car racing.
He was a long-time friend and a good neighbor.He will be sadly missed.

Ricky and all the Craven family, I am sorry to hear of your loss. My dad passed away last fall and I know how sad a time this is for you. my Dad was very proud of Rickys success in racing and we heard about it so much we felt like we were watching family. I am so sorry to hear of Crafty's passing. I knew him well when I lived in Dixmont. My condolences go out to the whole family. My wife, Pam, didn't know Crafty but was friends with his sister Marty, she sends her condolences to Marty and her husband Jerry. He will be sadly missed by everyone. We used to love to listen to his stories at Nason's store.
