I was so saddened to hear of Alan´s passing. He believed in me as a coach and supported the commitment I made to URI by making his own commitment to the tennis program. I am forever grateful for his support and generosity. Among the best (GOAT!) of giving to others. Will miss my thanks each year to you on Thanksgiving.

To Ellen: I am so saddened to learn of the passing of Alan. So many memories of my relationship with your family as we lived near each other in Providence. Your family has made a huge contribution to the lives of those less fortunate and I am blessed to have known you all. Philip Weinstein
