Your parents came to Tokyo, Japan as your Mother was one of our presenters at our yearly DODDS (Dept. of Defense Dependents Schools) Principals Conference. I was the coordinator for these conferences. And it so happens that I was once a resident of Manchester. This was over 20 years ago but I remember vividly how gracious, professional and warm they were. Your Mother did an excellent job and your Father also added much to the conference as he interfaced with many of the participants. You should be very proud of your parents and remember how influential they were to so many people.

I was shocked to hear of Alan's passing. I rode with Alan and Judy after one of our class reunions at Trinity College. Also rode some with Alan when he did his first century ride at age 80. Rode a short ride with Alan when he and Skippy visited my wife and me at our home in Framingham. My condolences to his family.

Dear Larry, Peter, Susan and Karen,
Thinking of you with deepest condolences on the loss of your Dad. It doesn't seem that long ago that as lifeguards, we watched you swim and taught you swimming lessons during the summer months. Your Mom and Dad were so special.
With Deepest Sympathy,
Steve Ashbacher
