May God continue to bless your family, Mr. Livingston! I realize that it has been many years since you passed away; but, I still recall how much my younger cousins had wanted to go see The Bozo Show, live. However, if I recall correctly, by the time they were old enough to go to see it in Chicago;the tickets were "sold out" until they would be 18 or 20 years old! I believe that they were 8 & 10 years old at the time. But, I know that we all watched The Bozo Show! It was a TV show which brought many children, like us, a lot of "good old fashioned family fun"; and we enjoyed it greatly! Thank you for creating such an amazing character, & for bringing him "to life", for us all! And, although I was too young to have known Frank Sinatra's works; but, thanks to today's technology; we can see it! Thank you for your part in The Beatles & The Beach Boys careers, as well! I pray that I will see you in Heaven some day! Sincerely yours, Jennifer Olmstead

I HAD TO GO AWAY
I had to go away.
I'm sorry you couldn't come with me.
But on earth is where you shall stay.
Please do not be sad.
Instead laugh and be glad.
I'm in a beautiful place, such a beautiful place.
I know you wont see me for a while.
But you will hear from me.
I will be the wind that will chill you on a hot summer day.
I will be the sun that will warm you when it's cold.
Listen to the birds sing, I will be saying, "I love you" in their song.
I know you can't touch me.
But you will feel me.
Because I will be inside of you giving you life on the days you feel like you can't go on anymore.
Please I beg of you, go on, live your life as I lived mine.
Always remember we will be together again.
I will be patiently waiting for you on that day.
When you will join me in this beautiful place.
Until then may God bless you with his almighty grace.

To the Livingston Family,
I am a "shirt-tail relative" sending my sincerest thoughts and prayers on this sad occasion. I remember my grandparents, Belle and Max Sweet in Milwaukee, WI playing the Bozo the Clown record album for me and telling me that it was sent to them from their cousin, Alan Livingston who was the head of Capital Records. I'm sorry I never got to know him or you but I do thank you for the good memories.

I would like to send my sincere condolences to the family of Alan Livingston. My family use to watch Bozo the Clown every Sunday morning. I'm sure this is a very difficult time for you all. Hopefully the words found at John 5:28, 29 where it speaks of Jesus calling all those out of the memorial tombs and how they will be resurrected to a life on paradise earth will bring you much needed comfort. A scripture that I personally have found to be of comfort is that at Revelation 21:4 where it speaks of no more mourning, outcry, death or pain.

As with most of your guest signing this book, I too grew up with Bozo The Clown. Mr. Livingston brought happiness to a multitude of people old and young alike. May your family have comfort and hope. God's promise found in John 5:28,29 is for all the faithful, for it says in part,"Do not marvel at this for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice , and come out....." You have my deepest sympathy.

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Alan touched many lives through his creative mind and humorous wisdom. May Bozo the Clown live forever in the hearts and minds of all people in generations to come. Alan made the lives of many people happier...more happier that he would have imagined! May he rest in peace.

Surely a man who enjoyed making people happy,
bringing laughter to the young as well as the old.
Our father in heaven is that way.
He truly intended for all to be happy and have plenty of joyful days. (Gen 1:28)
The holy writings in the book of Psalms says that the meek will inherit the earth and find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.(Ps 37:11)
More Happy Times for Mr. Boozo The Clown.
Miss You

As a child I loved watching Bozo the Clown, very fond memories. May God who sees your tears give you the needed strenght to endure in this time of deep sorrow.
May God's Kingdom promise: He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. (Rev. 21:3,4) Give you all the needed comfort.
With Sympathy,

May the comforting thought from the Bible book of Revelation, the 21st chapter, verse 4 be of comfort to you. It reads: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” May Our Heavenly Father give you the strength you need to cope with your loss and to make it through these difficult days.
