Alan WAGER Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 30, 2015.

WAGER (Alan Douglas):
3.6.1936 - 28.12.2015 Dearest husband and best friend of Rita, loved and admired father and father-in-law of Stephanie and John, Glenn and Hiroko, Robyn and Peter, proud grandfather of Julia and Lucinda, Philip and Hana, Oscar and Marcus.
Brother and brother-in-law of John and Judy (dec) and Coral, Margaret and Allan and uncle and great uncle to their families.
Brother-in-law of Heather and John (dec) and Alan (dec) and Agnes and uncle and great uncle to their families.
Alan was humble, patient, courageous, generous, dedicated and always willing to take on a challenge.
Alan touched the lives of many through his work as a Pharmacist and as proprietor of Wembley Pharmacy from 1961 to 1999.
His medical care at the Bendat Centre, SJOG, Hollywood Hospital and most recently at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital has been very professional and compassionate.
Thank you to Dr Siobhan Ng and Ward G73, SCGH.
The Scouting Association conferred Life Membership recently for 39 years of active service. Alan also held Life Membership of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia.

Noble he was, condemning all things mean. His truth unquestioned and his soul serene. Shame knew him not: he dreaded no disgrace. Truth, simple, truth was written on his face.
Rest in Peace.
WAGER (Alan Douglas):
After 52 years of marriage involving simple pleasures and wonderful experiences, I thank you for the life we shared. You were an inspiration and it was a privilege to care for you. Until we meet again. All my love, Rita.
WAGER (Alan Douglas):
Happy memories of a wonderful father. Dad was hard-working, fair-minded and committed to his community and had a great sense of fun and a cheeky glint in his eye. He encouraged us to follow his lead; his legacy is with us every day. Dad, we are so proud to have had you as our father and Grandad and we'll love you forever.
Stephanie, John, Julia and Lucinda.
WAGER (Alan Douglas):
To our courageous Dad and Grandad, with your deeds and love, you set an example for us all to follow.
Glenn, Hiroko, Philip and Hana.
WAGER (Alan Douglas):
Much loved father and father-in-law of Robyn and Peter. Loving Grandad to Oscar and Marcus.
Always in our thoughts. Forever in our hearts.
