Alana had a wonderful personality and work ethic. She was always high energy and consistently put a smile on my face. We only worked together for a short time, but it was enough where she and I got a chance to know each other outside of work quite well. She will be missed as I think of her often.

I connected Alana to colleagues in our Australian offices shortly after she joined our firm and she quickly became their "go to" person for technical litigation support. I wanted to share one of the messages I received from them in response to the news, which they (like so many others described as "very sad" and "absolutely terrible" -- "We very much enjoyed working with Alana Rose and really appreciated her very incredible assistance and her great sense of humour." We all extend our condolence to her family and friends. She will be missed by many.

I'm so very sorry to hear of Alana's passing. She was such a wonderful colleague at K&L Gates and an amazing mentor--I learned so much from her over the years. I'll definitely miss all our coffee breaks and her infectious laugh. Definitely one-of-a kind and I'm so thankful I got to get to know her. Keeping her family in my thoughts during this difficult time.
