I was very sorry to hear about Alasdair. Sandra, you may not remember me, you "taught" me my job at General Paint in Victoria in 1985. My thoughts are with you and your family.

On January 12, 2006, God's thundering voice pronounced the name of Alasdair Nairn and he answered, leaving all those whose lives he touched to mourn the loss of a courageous and inspiring man! He will forever continue to uplift us with the beautiful memories he imprinted on our hearts.
During your time of sorrow and healing, may the caring thoughts of those who love and care about you be a comfort to you.
We are deeply saddened to have lost a wonderful neighbour.

For too short a time I enjoyed Alastair's company.
He has always remained one of my favorite people.
He was a mentor and an inspiration to me.
In my mind I clearly see his teasing skeptical smile and hear his joyous burst of laughter.
I would like to send my wishes of comfort to Sandra, Geoff and Graeme, and all of those who loved him.

Our names may be unknown to you but we knew of Alasdair through the Tom Baker Centre when Our Daughter Kelly was being treated for a GBM at the same time as Alasdair in the spring of 1999. She was here from Ottawa on the same trial programme as well.
May we offer you our sincere condolences in your loss.We know only too well what it's like to lose a loved one. Kelly's journey lasted for two more years upon her return to Ottawa.

I was my pleasure to work with Alasdair, most of which was at Associated Grocers in Calgary. Also enjoyed his company off work where he showed me how to enjoy life! He had such a positive impact on everyone he came to know - and will be missed.
