Dad, it has been six years since you left this physical earth but you are as close in my thoughts today as you have ever been. You will always be my heart, but you know that. Love you eternally!

What a beautiful celebration of Mr. Ackers life today. Ali gave an articulate heartfelt tribute and Patty recited the prayer of St. Frances. It was truly a moving service. I will strive to be more steady and selfless from Mr. Ackers example. lots of love to the whole family , Mike and Laurie McNamara

So sorry to read of Al's passing. I, too, worked with him for many years at the Ramada Inn. Al was a good man, hard working, honest, and always dependable. We also shared a few laughs. While I hadn't seen Al in several years, he always crosses my mind when I think about the wonderful people I have known. My sincere condolences to Eileen and the rest of Al's family.

Eileen; not sure if you remember me, I'm Pat (Wesolowski) Sullivan, Mr. P's secretary during our days at the Ramada Inn of Al working the lounge and you in banquets. So very sorry for your loss; my deepest and sincerest wishes to you and your family. Loved making Al laugh every time I mentioned Engelbert!

We are so sorry for you loss. Mr. Acker was always there at the house when I would visit. Always sweet and kind, full of compassion. You can see his reflection in his wonderful wife and daughters. His memory and spirit will live on through you all. He will be missed. All our love, the McNamara family.

To the Acker Family, So sorry for your loss . I worked with Al years ago at Ramada Inn in North Haven. I used to call him Uncle Al and have very fond memories of him and your family and all the times we had at the Ramada Inn. He was loved by all who knew him. I was blessed by knowing him and loved him like an uncle. We used to go for coffee after work at the diner. I lost touch with him but he touched my life making me a better person ,wife and mom. Now he is a Guardian Angel for all who knew him.
My deepest Sympathy.
