Albert has been the most influential influence in my life, influencing me in various aspects of music, art, and books. He taught me that art is subjective and shaped my view of others. Despite disagreements about the Beach Boys album Pet Sounds, he always expressed love and encouragement, ensuring that I continue to play guitar. I know that world will be a far lesser place without him

I am adding this picture for Ester, she said, that she misses him very much. Will miss his phone calls and how he would talk. She thinks she was about 15 and beto 7 or 8. Maybe they were shopping, she can't remember. SHhe said she was upset because they took her to go get a haircut and they chopped it off. LOL. So they decided to take pictures. She loves her brother.

From me to my husband Al--
As I go about my day to day life since you left us, thinking and remembering is all that I can do. I knew you better than anyone, having known each other for over 50 years and growing up together to be the adults we would become.
I remember you being there with me during the births of our 3 children. I remember you not hesitating when another child needed the stability you helped provide. Our 4 children and their children and even their children´s children will pass on the stories of Grampa Albert and the strength he showed daily. If any of us were hit with especially hard problems, he would provide a hug and tell us to "quit that crying crap (edited)", and help fix what was wrong. You always took care of the hardest things that came into our family life. That is why we could use you now as there is nothing harder than saying goodbye.
There are far too many memories that I could share for too much time. Most of them will be kept between You and I and the family together we gave life. Know that the things you were known for will be passed through the generations as your legacy on Earth. From your love for music and books, as well as the collections of your life´s nostalgia, being the material things you left behind; To teaching the kids to play ping pong and foosball, showing them how to ride a bike and then how to drive; not to mention how to juggle, whistle a tune, throw a yo-yo or a dart, play marbles, and finally, how to make magazine blow darts (which hurt like hell, I might add), as the kid in you always showed through the strong façade you portrayed. But what you really left us all with is the thought that each of us CAN do it "my way " and still provide for those we love.
You truly were complicated man who simply loved us. Sleep well our warrior and know that, thanks to you, We Got This!!

I´ll never forget the intimidation factor this man had on me as a kid. I used to antagonize him as if I was the bigger dude until he caught me lol. Rest In Paradise Al!! We love you and we will miss you dearly!

It was so hard to get him to take a family picture. He would say aww Man, no one wants to see this mug. Do you want me to smile?

When he would surprise us and show up for a Christmas gathering, I would always ask for my envelope with 10.00 dollars. His response was... your lucky I am here.Lol

My Uncle Beto gave us kids cold, hard cash at Christmas. I remember when I "graduated" from 5.00 to 10.00 and was officially a big kid.

He was always playing marbles and mom would get mad at him because his hands were always dirty
