My condolences to the Cipolloni family. I met Mr. Cipolloni once when I was getting some concrete done at my house and he was a nice, down to earth guy.

Albert was such a sweet man and always made my daughter and I feel welcomed. Although I only got to know him recently, I won't forget our conversations while sharing pistachios :-)

He shared a story with me about when he was serving in the Korean War and he was on security duty during the middle of the night. He said it was so sticky and hot that he climbed into the water buffalo and rinsed his body after splashing around in the water. I have never laughed so hard. I told him he was lucky nobody woke up and caught him. That vision has always stayed in my head. If you are unfamiliar with a water buffalo, look it up. He will be missed. I'm lucky and feel privileged to have known him.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Cipolloni Family. I think of them now and I'm so very sad not only by the loss of their father, but the loss of their mother, Jeanette Cipolloni just under 16 months ago. I'm comforted by the thought of Mr. and Mrs. Cipolloni together in Heaven. What I remember most about Mr. Cipolloni is his puttering in the yard. I loved to make him smile and laugh as it bought a twinkle to his eyes. I'll miss that. He truly was a wonderful person. As a long time friend of his daughter Christine who lived with him, I hope she can find some comfort by the fact of how well she took care of him. She really was very very good to him. I'm so proud of her.
