Albert Cooper Obituary
Bruce - Albert Allen Cooper, 63, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at NMMC Hospice in Tupelo. He was born in Vardaman to Albert and Ruth Ell Cooper on June 11, 1956. He was married to Virginia for a short time before her death. He enjoyed being outside fishing, hunting, and gardening until his health declined. He was a member of Old Town Baptist Church. He loved being a uncle to his nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 2:00 at Jesus is Lord Church in Vardaman with Brother Johnny Davidson officiating. Visitation with the family will begin at 1:00 at Jesus is Lord Church until service time at 2:00.
He is survived by his son David Allen Cooper of Derma, his daughter, Kim Cooper of Vardaman; his sisters, Janie Russell of Pontotoc and Carol Johnson of Vardaman; his brothers, Bobby Joe Cooper of Vardaman, Tommy Cooper and Richard Cooper both of Houston; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Ruth Cooper; his wife, Virginia Cooper; a brother, Henry Cooper; a sister, Glenda Cooper; and one grandchild.
Southern Funeral Chapel of Houston is honored to serve his family during this time of loss.
