Albert E. Dotzert

Albert E. Dotzert, age 79, of Washington, passed away Saturday Aug. 21, 2010 at 12:35 p.m. at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born March 11, 1931 in Peoria to Albert W. and Comantha (Hopkins) Dotzert. He married Shirley D. Stanbery May 28, 1989 in Sunnyland. She survives along with his three daughters: Sharon Morgan, Carol Cordrey, Janice Dotzert all of Peoria, three sons: Ronald Dotzert of East Peoria, Steve (Cindy) Dotzert of Peoria, Kevin (Nilda) Wright of Florida, one step-daughter, Cathy (Charles) Love of Washington, two step-sons: Dave (Angela) Angle of Metamora, John (Wanda) Lowe of Biloxi, MS, nine grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two step-sons: Ted Angle and Rick Angle, one brother, William Dotzert, one son-in-law, David Cordrey, and one daughter-in-law, Wilma Dotzert.
Albert worked for Komatsu in Peoria for almost forty years retiring in 1994. He was a member of Roland Manor Baptist Church in Sunnyland.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be Wednesday Aug. 25, 2010 at 6 p.m. at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Visitation will be two hours prior to the services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
