Bert will be missed throughout the ham community. I will miss his easy-going personality after countless on-the-air contacts and face-to-face meetings at picnics over the years.

Was saddened to learn of Bert's death. Bert was a true gentleman and a dear friend of our family for many years. We will miss him on the "ham waves" and the many amateur radio functions that we attended over the years.
