I just found a letter that Albert wrote to me in 1973. So, I decided to look him up online. But, I missed my chance of reconnecting with him. I feel so bad about that. The letter was so tender and kind. Dear Lavinskas family, in case you don't remember me, I am Kathy Gallo and I came up to visit with Sam Sawan to a wedding. I remember dancing with Albert at the wedding to "Strangers in the Night". It was a magic moment. Some of you also came to visit me in Ohio in 1973. I will always remember Albert with affection and will feel sorry that I let too much time pass by before trying to find him.

Dear cousins,
You have been in our thoughts over the last few months. It is heartrending to lose a sibling. But we're glad you have the loving support of each other and wonderful memories of Albert. We remember with fondness the many Christmas visits and time spent at a summer cottage with your family when we were young.
With much love and sympathy,
Diane and Louise, and Bob, Kelly, Robin, and Ashley

Our hearts are with you at this very sad time, dear Family. When thinking of Albert, we think of how energetic he was and of his terrific smile. Be reassured in the thought that a little bit of him has stayed behind to be with each of you every day until you meet up with him again.

With our deepest sympathies to the whole family; We were fortunate to know Albert, and the whole gang at Alpha.
Still do today.
Albert was such a great guy. I remember a few good conversations- and not always on the subject of watches!
I even bought a pipe ( Albert inspired me ) and had a few puffs in my day!
I know we'll miss him, but I also know he is still with us, watching over us. We won't forget you Albert!
