ALBERT McCAFFREY Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Jun. 4 to Jun. 11, 2015.
McCAFFREY - The family of the late Albert 'Bertie' McCaffrey wishes to extend their grateful thanks to all those who showed support and expressed sympathy following the loss of a much loved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. We were touched by the kindness shown, flowers received and the food provided by family, friends and neighbours. The family wishes to thank Dr. Patrick Toal, Erne Health Centre and the practice staff as well as Sr. Roisin Quigley and the treatment room staff for all their care and attention. Our sincere and special thanks to Sr. Tracey Thompson (Heart failure specialist nurse), Dr. Hamilton and the cardiology team in SWAH for the excellent support which enabled our dad to remain at home for as long as possible. Thank you to the paramedic and ambulance crew who demonstrated great skill and care for Bertie following his fall; to the surgical team, ICU/HDU and Ward 2 in Altnagelvin Hospital who cared for our father following his surgery; to Dr. Albert McNeill and the staff of Ward 44 (cardiology) Altnagelvin Hospital who provided high quality care to our father in his final days and the kindness and compassion shown by all the staff to our family. The family wishes to thank the Revd. David Cupples and the many friends in Enniskillen Presbyterian Church for their support and kindness. A special thanks to the ladies of PW who provided the refreshments following the funeral service. Thanks to Austen Stinson at W. T. Morrison Funeral Directors for the caring and professional way he carried out the funeral arrangements. Thank you to our immediate neighbours for their unstinting support for Mum and Dad shown throughout Dad's illness. Dorothy, Elizabeth, John (McCaffrey) and Cathy (Magowan).
