Albert Roznicki Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 5, 2025.
Albert Paul Roznicki; 89, passed away peacefully accompanied by his wife Nancy and other family members by his side on March 20, 2025, in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. He was the only child of Joseph and Irene Roznicki; better known as Bert, Roz, Popper, Al or Unc to those he loved. Born on May 13, 1935, in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, Albert previously resided in Stamford Ct and later in Newtown Ct before moving to Ann's Choice in Warminster PA. Albert was a true Renaissance man and lived a full and vibrant life marked by intellectual curiosity, athleticism, global experiences, and a deep work ethic and love of his family.

Albert's academic journey began at Bucknell University, where he was a proud brother of Sigma Chi fraternity. He also attended Penn Military College and remained a lifelong learner throughout his years. His thirst for knowledge and passion for understanding the world never waned.

Professionally, Albert built an impressive career in upper-level finance that took him across the globe. His work led him to travel extensively in places such as Japan, China, and Paris-experiences that enriched his worldview and informed his later pursuits. After years of domestic and international business success, he launched his own consulting company,"Business Development Resources" and also became an insightful political writer. His sharp intellect and analytical mind made his editorial articles and commentaries informative and engaging.

Albert served in the United States Navy-a chapter of service that reflected his sense of duty and discipline. His love of flying airplanes was developed there. He was a gifted athlete from a young age. A star in baseball, basketball, and football during his youth, he carried that love of sports into adulthood as a ski patroller and avid tennis player. Whether on the slopes or the court, Albert brought energy and enthusiasm to every game.

He was a man of many talents, Bert partnered with a friend to build a house in Pound Ridge NY, which is still standing, and countless decks. Albert could be found strumming a tune on the guitar and could also play the piano, accordion and harmonica. He loved to tinker and build things and invented several solutions to everyday problems-such as a baby feeder-decades before its time . He would engage the grandchildren in dreaming up and executing novelties like the "CANDY-MAKER 3000", from everyday items.

Beyond his professional achievements and athletic prowess, Albert was known for his quick wit and joke telling. He had a remarkable sense of humor-often sharing long shaggy dog stories or cracking jokes with family and friends. One of his greatest joys was making people laugh. He cherished deep conversations that challenged the mind and stirred the soul.

Albert is survived by his grade school sweetheart of 62 years, his loving wife Nancy Giuffre Roznicki, his three daughters: Lynn Bourgeois and her husband Philip of Williamsburg, VA; Kristen Borchetta and her husband Barry of Wilton, CT; and Karen Usowski and her husband Connor of New Hope, PA. He was a generous and loving grandfather to 6 grandchildren who will miss him dearly: Kayla, Devon, Sean and his wife Amanda, Brian, Lauren, and Carter and his fiancee Sydney-and his great-granddaughter Emma and 2 nieces, Cheryl Confessore and Pam Farrell and their families.

An aunt of Nancy's captured it best when they said simply: "We are so glad we married him."

May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life is planned to honor Albert's extraordinary life and legacy on

Lynn and family, your dad sounds amazing. Thank you for sharing his obituary. Loss of a parent who helped to shape us is so hard. As 1 Thessalonians 4 tells us, find comfort knowing that you will spend eternity with your dad in his fully perfected body where you will laugh together once again and rejoice over all your blessings! Love Eileen

I offer my sincerest sympathy, Lynn to you at this sad time, and for Phil and your family in their a comfort and peace for you. I read with joy the story of your Father's life and the vast influence and wisdom he had. I pray for Nancy and her hope in the Return of Christ jn losing her dear husband. I pray for all of you in comforting one another with words of the Hope of the Lord's return. The Lord bless you and keep all of you all the days of your lives until that Great Day!

Al and Nancy were the greatest Hanover Road, Newtown, neighbors. We had so much fun together, especially at happy hour. I will always be grateful for their generosity in allowing me unlimited access to their indoor pool. I miss them both and Nancy is correct - So glad she married him and shared him with all of us. With much love to the family, Mary.

The last time I saw "Big Al" was when he came all the way to Cary, North Carolina to participate in my father's 80th birthday celebration in 2013. He helped me find words when I didn't know what to say on that occasion. Until now I didn't realize that Al was also an only child, like my father, but clearly it wasn't true in either case because my dad described Al as his "brother"; they rejoiced in each other's humor, could complete each other's sentences and "feed off each other" as my dad liked to say. A house-building hero in our childhood, Al was always a source of good cheer, whether as a "Hunting Ridge Raindeer" or as a kindly host to yet more boisterous children on his premises. I'd be hard pressed to find a better role model. I'll be tuned to the heavens to hear the latest punchline. I dare say it might be a new rendition of "Would I?" ;-)
Rest in peace and see you on the other side!
