ALBERTA SCOTT
WHEELERSBURG — Alberta P. Scott, 93, of Wheelersburg, died Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Concord Health & Rehabilitation Center in Wheelersburg. She was born November 29, 1920 in Dehue, WV the daughter of the late Oren E. and Sadie May Virgin. Alberta was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Scott; three sons, Carl, Con and George Scott; 5 brothers, Emanuel, Edward, Con, Don and Joseph Virgin and one grandson, Michael Thompson.
Alberta is survived by one daughter, Patricia Sue Wright of Minford; one son, Harold C. Scott of Wheelersburg; eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
A Graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, October 20, 2014 at Vernon Cemetery in Wheelersburg. The family will receive friends from 11a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Swick-Bussa-Chamberlin Funeral Home in Wheelersburg. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.swickbussachamberlin.com

Love & prayers to Alberta's family & friends; my mother-in-law Bea Stonerock was a good friend to her and their sons grew up together in Lyra, Vernon Township years ago....she was a kind person who will be missed by all who knew & loved her.
