It is with great sadness that the family of Alberto Pagnotta announces his passing on April 16, 2012 at the age of 94 years.
Alberto will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends in Edmonton and Italy. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Eugenia; his parents, Gennaro and Maria Pagnotta; siblings, Michele Pagnotta, Pasquale Pagnotta, Francesco Pagnotta, Rosina Caputo and Eugenia Grimaldi.
Alberto immigrated to Canada in 1952 from Italy. It was through his hard work, perseverance, and strong will that Alberto was able to pave the way for his family to begin a new life in Canada. Alberto was a kind and generous man with uncompromising integrity and respect for family. His life and legacy will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. The family wish to extend special thanks to the staff of the Royal Alexandra Hospital for their care and compassion.
Prayers Friday, April 20 at 8:00 p.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 9110 - 110 Avenue.
Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, April 21 at 9:30 a.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church. Entombment in the Edmonton Mausoleum.
Respecting Alberto's wishes, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.

my very sincere condolences to albertos family ; we were all so saddned to hear of his passing he was a very true genuine thoughtful and kind friend,both alberto and sagenia; he is surely with her now in peace and happpiness together again. we loved coming over to see him he made great speghetti amd lasauna and so much more for us,but his friendship meant a lot to our family,and i will never forget him,never. god bless you alberto,and always in our hearts; rene and marina hartogh/ and family pejkovic
