My sincere condolences.
Bodie was a faithful and caring board member of Shepherd of the Gulf.
He served with care and compassion for the homeless and less fortunate on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
He was always there, right in front, awaiting instructions on what was needed and where.
There are no words to express how deeply he will be missed.
His love was everlasting.
There will always be an empty chair for where once he sat.
Again, our deepest condolences

I miss my brother and I know he was happy in the knowledge of a better place to go when he died. He was so many things to so many people and he was kind and generous with his time. Bon Voyage, Captain Bodie

Bodie was my dear cousin. I first got to know him when he came to visit my family in VA when he was in the Coast Guard. I was 12 years old then and remember him in his whites. I was invited by Bodie and Danielle to visit them in their home. It was lovely. Bodie and I spoke on the phone in our later years. He will be missed.
