Aldo Tristan Cataldo

Aldo Tristan Cataldo Sept. 22, 1940 - Feb. 22, 2013 Resident of Bay Area Aldo Cataldo passed away peacefully at home in Moraga after a lengthy illness. Aldo was born September 22, 1940 and graduated from Oakland Technical High School in 1957. He furthered his education at Diablo Valley College and while in the United States Air Force Reserve. He married the former Marilyn Olivieri in 1966 and was the owner of Monterey Liquors in Berkeley for 40 years. Aldo was an avid golfer, fisherman, hunter and enjoyed time with his family most of all. Mr. Cataldo was a member of the Moraga SIRS and The Ligurie Club in Oakland. Aldo was a loving, caring and dedicated son, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 46 years, Marilyn; sons, Anthony Cataldo, Michael (Lori) Cataldo and Steven (Zaira) Cataldo. He also leaves his grandchildren, Dominic, Nicole and Roman Cataldo. A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, March 7, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa's Church, 30 Mandalay Road, Oakland, CA 94618 with a reception immediately following. Private inurnment will be at Oakmont Memorial Park, Lafayette, CA.
