Alex Berns Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Jul. 26 to Jul. 27, 2006.
BERNS, ALEX PRESCOTT, Beloved son, brother and grandson born August 5, 1981 lost his battle to bi-polar disease on July 13, 2006. Born and raised in Austin, he attended school in Westlake and college in Redlands, Ca. Blessed with many gifts, he developed an early love and talent for the game of golf and experienced immense joy playing tournaments and learning from his legendary mentors. He took great pride in restoring his 65 red Mustang, released his stress riding the Harley, treasured time with his family and was an exceptional writer. Alex will be remembered for his sweet gentle spirit, big generous heart and devotion to his family. He is survived by his father Richard Berns, step mother Karen and brothers Blake and Jake Berns, his mother Rhonna Robles, grandparents Irving and Joan Wallerstein, Aunt Randee and cousins Todd, Amanda and Whitney Wallerstein of Austin and Evan, Sharron and Cousin Weber Wallerstein of Laredo. He will be greatly missed, but all that knew and loved him can take comfort in knowing that Alex is finally at peace. COOK-WALDEN FUNERAL HOME 6100 N. LAMAR AUSTIN, TEXAS 78752 512-454-5611
