BIDNICK, Alex
Alex Bidnick ran his race with endurance for 90 years. On December 27, 2014, his earthly body wore out, and Jesus sent His Angels to carry his spirit to heaven.
Alex is mourned by his devoted wife of 68 years, Elsie; children, Marlene (Bill) Winter, Shirley Bidnick, Laverne Herman; grandchildren, William (Erica) Winter, Rochelle Compton, Tyler Herman; great granddaughter, Olivia Winter; siblings, Nick (Gloria) Bidniak, George Bidniak, Bessie Kozak, Metro Bidniak, Beth Tobin, Rose (Trev) Lien.
On Monday, January 5, 2015, North Pointe Community Church, 14025 – 167 Avenue T6V 1J5, a visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at 12:30 p.m. at St. Michael's Cemetery, 13819 – 82 Street, Edmonton. At 1:30 p.m., Pastor Bob Jones will lead us in a celebration of his life at North Pointe Community Church, as we thank God for Alex's life. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Rainbow Program c/o North Pointe Community Church.

Aunty Elsie, Marlene, Shirley, Laverne and families: Sending my message of sympathy from Australia. Remembering Uncle Alex becoming the "Family Patriarch at such a young age after the death of his parents. He remained a father figure to his siblings throughout the years. Rest in Peace.

Alex was a fantastic man he was a very interesting person. He shared many stories as we got to know each other. Alex is truly missed by all who knew him, loved deeply by his daughter's Laverne and Shirley you could see it the way they took him home and cared for him right to the end. I helped look after this great man and will truly miss his smile and twinkling eyes. Rest in peace! My thoughts and prayers are with you Shirley. Laverne, Rochelle and Tyler at this time
