Alex Garrido

I had the pleasure of working with Alex for about 5 years. He and I often talked baseball in between doing our actual work. I often joked with him about being "the (insert famous sports star) of Project Management." I know he was a Yankees guy and I am a big Red Sox fan but he still was happy for me, even when the Sox won! He was such a calm and endearing presence, even under pressure at work. Colleagues and I knew he never panicked and was able to manage multiple projects like an absolute champ. I was devastated to learn of his death and he meant so much to me even after I left Limelight Insights. He was one of the most genuine, kind and funny people I have ever met. He was an excellent, hardworking Project Manager and great Father. He really made the world a better place and he will be truly missed. Thank you Alex for being who you are and every time I turn on a baseball game I will think of you.

Alex was without a doubt the best human I ever had the pleasure of knowing. Those early morning talks at the rink or just sitting by the table laughing with him I´ll always cherish. His laughter and smile was infectious. He will be greatly missed. Rita, Adrian and ziggy we´ll always be here for you three. My heart breaks for you all my thoughts and prayers have been, and will be with you. We love you guys!

Alex was the sweetest kid. My family visited marina & hector and alex( he was maybe 16 ) with my kid so many years ago, but I can remember the food , the love , music & the tiki bar. Alex was the father and husband that we should all strive to be. He was always there for his family no matter what. His presence and wonderful sense of humor will be greatly missed around the hockey rinks. Our condolences to all of Alex´s family through these difficult times.

My heart is with you and your families, Rita. Everyone who ever met Alex will feel a bit of their heart missing now. You truly completed each other and made a beautiful life and family together. Love you.

I´ll always remember Alex with long hair, wearing his heavy metal gear, and ripping on the drums back in middle school. Talented, hysterically funny and kind. He once took a go-cart airborn over the curb and into the grass at the Race o Rama track, defying physics. My condolences. May he rest in peace.

Dearest Rita and Adrian, this is my favorite picture of you and Alex. The happiness on both of your faces is a true reflection of the love you had for one another I especially like it because my father is looking over his right shoulder towards the both of you and his smile reflects just how happy he was and how much he loved you both. We are so sorry for your loss. It feels like yesterday when we met you guys 3 years ago through Adrian and Dylan playing hockey together and we´ve been like family since. I always enjoyed talking hockey and soccer with Alex and will always remember our times together cheering on the boys.
