Dear Friends and Family,
Thank you so much for the kind words that have been spoken about my Grandfather Alex. My father (Zane) has tried to reply back to many of you that have written entries, but for some reason has not been successful at it. Zane can be contacted through my email address at [email protected]

Thank you we will be anxious to hear from you,
Susie
(Alex's Granddaughter)

My wife Pam and I got to know Alex in North Port, Florida when we visited my father and joined him and his wife for the "breakfast club" on Friday mornings with other Johnstowners. We enjoyed knowing him and enjoyed his company. Sorry about his passing.

Zane & Den,

My brother and I send you are best. Your dad and ours worked in the mill together.

Memories of our families - living in Hornerstown as neighbors on Pine Street - playing sports (Hockey) and just growing up together.

Please write if you get a chance. We would love to hear from you.

I used to work at Specialty Lifecare and after I quit I still came back for a vist. Working with Alex was great. He had a wonderful sense of humor. When I served him his food I used to tell him to not forget the tip and sure enough when I came to cleanup his table, there would be a penny lying there for me! He was great when Id bring my 1yr old son to visit too. Always insisted on buying him ice cream and seem genuinely hurt when I decline to accept his money. He was an all around wonderful person and I will never forget that guy!
