Alex John Shubin

Alex Shubin, 88, was born on March 7, 1922 in Los Angeles, California and passed away on July 9, 2010 in Norwalk, California. Alex is survived by his loving wife Anna Shubin of Montebello, daughters, Anne( Mike) Afonin of Fresno, Mary Slevcove of Downey, Nadya(Daniel) Bolderoff of W. Australia and Tanya(Tim) Slevin of Hacienda Heights. Sons, John (Susan)Shubin of Whittier, William(Tina) Shubin of Fullerton, and Nick(Christine) Shubin of La Habra Heights. Sisters, Merye Pavloff of Whittier, Onya (Andy)Nazaroff of Kerman and Nadya Nazaroff of Downey. He also leaves fifteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Immediate family gathering will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Risher Mortuary Chapel in Montebello, California with the Dressing Prayer beginning at 3:00pm. Visitation will begin at 4:00pm on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Big Church in Whittier, California. Funeral service will begin at 1:00pm on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at the Russian Molokan Cemetery in Commerce, California directly from Big Church in Whittier, California Condolences may be emailed to the family thru our guest book.
