Alexander BRAUN Obituary
June 21, 1938 - July 19, 2014
Alexander (Alex) Braun of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the age of 76 years. Alex was born in Lochhauser, Germany and came with his family to Canada as a young man. Alex was a proud member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, and was part of the church choir. He will always be remembered for his kind and considerate nature. Alex is survived by his son Wayne Braun, daughter Lorraine and her husband Bill Brown, Melinda and her husband Mike Knowles; grandchildren Alyssa, Angela, Patricia, Kimberly, and David; sisters Rita Rau, Alma Frick, and brother Ron Braun. Alex was predeceased by his beloved wife Anneliese, brothers Otto Braun and Bill Braun, and his parents. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church (321 - 90 Ave SE) on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
