Alexander Doom Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 3, 2025.
Alexander James, or as Dad calls him Awesome Alex, left this world far too soon on December 27, 2024, at the young age of 12. Born in Springfield, IL, on June 17, 2012, Alex's smile could light up any room and brighten even the darkest of days.

In St. Louis, MO, Alex passed away, surrounded by loved ones.

He is survived by his parents, Father Nathan Barber who is also father to Alex's loving siblings Brenden and McKinzee Barber, Mother Carrie Doom and 2 half siblings, his Grandfather James Barber and Grandmother Cherilyn Barber plus many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins along with numerous friends.

Alex loved baseball, an avid Cardinals fan. Alex also very much enjoyed cars and as many of you know loved his dad's collection but for some reason, always thought Teslas were the coolest. Alex was an amazing kid whose jokes would have you laughing until you cried. Anything he did was absolutely amazing and he excelled at it all because of his very competitive soul. He was kind smart and so handsome, which he was sure to remind you with his adoring attitude. Anyone who was lucky enough to have met him would have the same to say. He was a pure, good soul in every aspect and everyone who loved him couldn't have been more proud of him.

Alex's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him for ever and always.
