Alexander Lubarsky Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 27, 2007.
LUBARSKY, Alexander Alexander Lubarsky of Cromwell, passed away unexpectedly, at the age of 20, on Wednesday (May 23, 2007). Born in Stalingrad Russia, on January 27, 1987, he was the beloved son of Svetlana Lubarsky. Alex was employed by the Kamco Supply Co. and was a graduate of Wethersfield High School. Aspiring to join the United States Air Force he also, attended the Massanutten Military Academy, in Woodstock, VA. He was a regular at the Wethersfield skate park, which is where he was able to do what he enjoyed the most, riding his bike. Alex also enjoyed other extreme sports, whether it was skate boarding, snowboarding or going off for a ride on his ATV. He was a kind and caring young man who will be loved and missed by those fortunate enough, to have known him. He leaves his mother Svetlana, of Farmington; his sister Allison Dawidowicz and her husband Adam of Cromwell, with whom Alex made his home; an uncle Eugene Lubarsky of Baltimore, MD, and many friends. Friends may call at the Ahern Funeral Home, 111 Main St. (Route 4), Unionville on Monday the 28th of May, from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the Ahern Funeral Home on Tuesday, at 11 a.m. Followed by burial in Maple Cemetery, Berlin.

Alex another year has come and gone. We visit your grave often, and keep the boys flowers going as well. We pray for you, and them and feel better knowing you are in Heaven with them. Hard to believe Evan is 28 now, and you were 20 when you left. God keep the three of you in his hands we pray. Love to all the family, and your beautiful little Niece. Peace.

Alex,
We have never forgotten you, and your beautiful smile.
Evan still keeps your picture framed on his wall, and speaks of you, as well. We frequently visit your grave when we tend to the twins, and know without a doubt they have been happy up in heaven, with their Uncle Alex, and now Cedes. Rest in peace, sweet boy. It was a joy to know you for a little while.

As the sun comes up and goes down I think of you, as I drive in my car I think of you, I wait for you to come home and ask how my day was, I wait for you to call me on the way home and ask if we are going to the gym tonight, I wait for you to call and ask me if you can take my car and go to the park with the dogs. I miss seeing your smile, hearing your voice, even you yelling; most of all I miss everything about you. You were / are my soul and the reason for living. I think of how you wanted to be in the Air Force and fly plains well you got your wings without going in the service. Words will never explain the feeling that I got when the police called and told me to go to the hospital, and I will never forget the 5 ½ hours that I sat at the bed side and you were not moving. I didn’t want to let you go because I would never see you again. I love you more then words will ever explain I love you more you will never know.

We were shocked and saddened when hearing about Alex. Alex met our son, Jay, in middle school. They remained friends all through middle school spending many hours at our house with our family. Even when Jay was away to school, Alex frequently would just stop by to talk and say "hi". He was a compasionate and caring young man who will be missed by all. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I am so sorry for your loss. Alex was a student in my classes here in Middletown. He was always kind to others, polite, and good-hearted.

Like everyone else, I am shocked by his sudden passing. This world would be better if more folks had Alex's heart and compassion, as well as his playful spirit.

We understand as our son gained his wings in 2003. Our children are the light of our hearts and when we are left to grieve them we feel so alone with the overwhelming pain of loss, please know you are not. There are many who walk this path with you and we are always near if you ever need. During this time hold each other close and we will hold you in our prayers.
