Our loving father, brother uncle, and friend passed away February 25, 2018 after a long, hard battle with addiction. Alex was born December 28, 1982 to Ray and Mary Mc Bride. He was the 4th of 5 children, with 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
He spent most of his childhood in Riverton where he attended Riverton High School. He enjoyed music, being outdoors, and snowboarding. He loved good food, the East Coast and making fudge! He was unwavering in his devotion to the Utah Jazz and the Boston Red Sox. He also enjoyed scouting where he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Alex served a faithful mission in the Richmond, Virginia area, and was always willing to help someone in need. He married Marissa Morrison in 2005 and he became the proud dad of seven wonderful children. He received his bachelor degree from Western Governors University in computer science and excelled in his field wherever he went. He was smart, hardworking, enthusiastic, and his fun loving, adventurous spirit made him a treasure to his children, nieces and nephews. He was an inspiration to many and loved by all.
Alex is preceded in death by their two angel babies Constance Lorraine (Stanzy) and Lucy Claire, grandparents Robert and Eleanor Dreher, and cousin David Robbins. He is survived by his children Haven, Cael, Maevie, Cora, Shae, parents Ray and Mary McBride, and siblings Edmund (Melissa), Sarah, Matt (Christine), Rachel (Boyd).

Alexander McBride you were a great friend to me and I will never forget the times we had together. I will miss your good nature and kind heart. You were always willing to lend a hand whether it be lifting a heavy pine tree, lending me your tools, or letting me use your new lawn mower several times as mine was on the fritz. My kids will never forget the summer nights sitting in your driveway with snacks as you set up the funnest movie nights projecting movies onto your garage door. Thanks for running to late night movies with me. We really had a lot in common and looking back my favorite memories of you were just hanging out in your front yard on summer evenings talking about music, politics, the ups and downs of life, and our kids! I watched you love and adore your family and I know you loved them beyond measure! Although I feel heartbroken I feel peace knowing you are at peace! See you on the other side! I love you Brother!
