There are no words that are right in such a difficult time as this. Know that many are praying that you will receive the comfort that only Jesus can bring. Your son was such a blessing to so many!

Many years have passed since I had the pleasure of meeting Alex. Julie, you and your family moved into the neighborhood and needed someone to watch Ryan and Alex. My daycare was just two houses down. I will always remember Alex's blond hair and a smile that brightened my day. "I see he still had that smile." My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family. If you need anything I'm just a phone call away.

Julia I know your pain as we lost our son Dean in 2011. I miss seeing you behind our house with the big horses. We watched your sons grow up. If you ever need to talk I am here for you. No one knows the pain of a Mother losing a Son. Just remember Alex is walking the streets of gold with Jesus now. Praying for you friend.

I didn't know Alex, but my boys saw the pray for Alex sign at Castle a long time ago. They were faithful to pray for him every night. We will continue to pray for your family in this difficult time. Find comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering and is in the presence of Jesus.

I met Alex at Easter Seals when he came for an OT evaluation. I was very impressed by his great attitude. I was not his regular therapist, but when I saw him, he was always working hard. My son was his classmate at Castle and we are both thinking of and praying for your family.

Alex was my best friend since the day we met. He always knew the right words to say to cheer me up. I'll always remember your bright smile, and it won't be the same when anyone else calls me "Quaniqua". I love you and miss you dearly Alex.

Psalm 139:13-18
For you created my inmost being,
You knit me together in my mother's womb.I praise you because I am
fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your bookbefore one of them came to be.
How precious to me are your thoughts, oh God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to countthem, they would outnumber the grains of sand! When I awake, I am still with you.

My brave, sweet nephew, things don't seem the same without you in our lives. How could they? I cannot believe you are not here. I know you are in the presence of God. Until I see you again, I will keep your memory alive. Love, Aunt Jen

Shawn and Wendy,
The death of a child is the hardest thing a parent can suffer. You will be hit over and over with a thought or a memory, often out of the blue. Those thoughts and memories, as painful as they may be, are healing. The one truth that has sustained me is that God's grace is sufficient and that someday we will see our children again and will spend an eternity with them as we sit at Jesus' feet. I am just a phone call away if you ever need to talk.
