Alexander ROSENBAUM

ROSENBAUM, Alexander Holocaust Survivor, born in Berehovo Czechoslovakia October 7th, 1930, passed away with his family by his side while on vacation in Budapest Hungary on November 3rd, 2003. Alex was a very well respected business man, athlete, world traveler and long standing member of the Shaar Hashomayim Synagogue. He will be lovingly remembered by many as a man of true integrity, honesty, and above all strength of character, ambition, and fortitude. Alex was a wonderful, caring, devoted and generous husband, father and grandfather. He leaves behind his loving wife of 56 years Vera, son Harry (Bernice) and daughters Florence and Barbara (Larry) as well as 7 grandchildren, Matthew, Corey, Nicole, Zachary, Stefan, Sydney and Anton, and nephews Robert Scharf and Thomas Spira. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, November 9th at 2:00 p.m. at the Rachel Kaplan Hebrew Memorial Chapel, 875 Aylmer Ave., Rabbi Krupnick officiating. Interment will follow at the Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, Pillette Rd. Shiva will be observed at the family home evenings only. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
