Rain couldn't dampen his spirit at Brendan´s graduation.

At family dinners, I would always try to sit next to Sandy if possible - it was too alluring, to engage in a provocative conversation, to which I would love to hear his clever and diplomatic responses to my outlandish banter.

A little quote here that seems quite fitting for this very lovely man:

"And when the great scorer comes to write against your name,
He asks not whether you won or lost,
But how you play the game"

My condolences to all the Ross Families ~ I guess it´s still hard for me to believe I won´t be seeing Sandy´s reassuring smile anymore-
I definitely welled up seeing his picture and reading his obituary with all the wonderful lifelong details.

I feel fortunate to be someone who genuinely enjoyed Sandy´s company; we often talked about life in general, current events, sports a lot (such archival knowledge had he!). I always smiled back each and every time I saw him over the last quarter century.

I shall miss him very much ~
