Thanks Grandpa for all the laughter, support, guidance and wisdom you shared with me my whole life. Your crazy university stories, funny emails even though I'll admit I didn't read them all. You inspired me to join engineering...even though you couldn't persuade me to go into mechanical! I will always remember you and I'll always strive to be as good a grandpa, father, husband and friend as you were!

We became part of the Sinclair family 14 yrs ago when Shelley & Brian married . We didn't see the family often , but we are family . We are saddened at the passing of Alex , a man who handled his struggles and joys in life with dignity & with the love of his family . Alex always had a smile on his face & was truly blessed with 5 beautiful daughters , wonderful sons-in-laws , and a truly devoted wife . You have earned your seat in the heavens Alex. As my brother Brian said " you will be missed ".

Kiki, Kevin, Wilson and all the Sinclair clan. We are so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing, he was a man that seemed to have a deep love for his family and doted on them. Knowing only Kiki, I can see how the sense of humour in Alex has been passed down to her... and that is very lovely. Cherish each other in this difficult time and always draw on the memories of your dad that are in your heart and mind to bring a smile to you when you need it most. Our deepest sympathies to you all.

I shall miss bantering back and forth with you over Dorothy's amazing dinners. I loved watching you savour every delicious morsel. Thank you for welcoming me into your home with open arms over the past couple of years. Your home became my home away from home - Re-connecting and getting to spend time with you and your family. I loved listening to your stories and watching the sparkle in your eye as you spoke of your children and grandchildren. They were your joy and Dorothy was your love. Thank you for taking time to be with us this summer... a special memory for sure. Mostly I will miss your comments on FB - we had some laughs, didn't we? Rest peacefully dear Alex. You will be missed by so many. Love and hugs to Dorothy and all the family. xoxo

From the Brown Family comes our deepest sympathy. The loss of Alex is difficult because he gave so much to all of us, and we will miss his wisdom, sense of humour and love. He had a true sense of family. He loved you all unconditionally, and that was so very special. As you celebrate his life, his strength and his faith, know that we are all there with you in spirit. We know you will have planned a very meaningful and loving tribute to one of the family's finest! Please accept our love and support as freely as Alex himself always gave it. Uncle Brad, Aunt Em and family.
