While I only knew him briefly he was a great young man. May he rest in peace.

I am so sorry to hear of Alex's passing. I was his 5th grade teacher. I remember Alex as a sweet, quiet boy. I remember one time that he and another boy moved their desks while I was out of the room. When I came back in, they were trying to look all innocent. When I figured it out, I told them that if they thought they could sit together and behave, then I would let them keep their desks together. And they did! My heart goes out to the family. I also lost my son in 2016. If there is anything I can do, or if the family needs support, please contact me. You are not alone. Alex will be missed.

I am very sorry for your loss. Please allow the fondest memories shared with your loved one to be a soothing blanket over your heart. May God words of promise found in John 6:40 brings you consolation and a small measure of peace. Please accept my sincere regards and heartfelt condolences. ~MM~

Trevor, Sara, Elizabeth and family, there are no words that can truly comfort you in this time of the profound loss of your son and brother. I pray that God grants you peace and the strength to bear the pain.
I have so many memories of Alex when he'd come to watch his day play. When he started the sticks he carried for his dad were bigger than he was. He spent many a night in a cold ice rink watch us old men play and never complained.
If there is any thing I or Trevor's hockey family can do, please let us know.
